Toshiba satelite 110 wont charge

IMy Toshiba Satelite 110 will not charge, I bought a new battery and tried a different charger but still won't.
If I unplug the charger and re plug it , it may then charge for maybe 30 seconds or a minute and then I have to un plug and re plug

I have the same problem.
