toshiba satellite A105 horizontal lines on mid-screen.

My Toshiba satellite A105-s4021 started showing up horizontal dotted lines in the middle of the screen.(i think it started after the laptop was dropped on the ground).when i move the screen (open and close) the lines go off then after a while they go back on.so I guess it is a hardware problem.but i need to know where to look exactly.

It could just be a loose cable, you will have to open it up and check the cable on the motherboard and screen end.
