Question Toshiba Satellite P745 Laptop

I have a Toshiba Satellite P745 Laptop. I've suddenly lost my WIFI network and can't connect to the internet. The wireless icon does not show on the laptop; FN F8 button does nothing. The WIFI driver is showing in Device Manager in the Network Adapter and the driver is updated. I can connect to the internet using ethernet. The WIFI icon is showing green in Network and Sharing Center but it has a red cross by it. I've toggled the WIFI and it gives me an option of turning it on manually, 1 hour, four hours, or 1 day. However, when I click on manage networks or show available networks, I get nothing. Help! I'm at my wits ends.

Is airplane mode enabled? Did you try removing it from Device Manager and installing it again with the drivers from Toshiba support page?
