Toshiba Satellite Radius will only shut down when lid closed

We have a new Toshiba Satellite Radius 11, and every time we close the lid it shuts down.

We have tried changing the settings for lid close to Hibernate and do nothing, but it always shuts down.

I have also tried re-opening the lid while it was in the shut down process and saw that we are getting a Windows 10 Blue Screen with an error message of bad pool caller.

Go to control panel > Go to power settings
Here go to hybernet option and change this settings to never turn off when flip down.

Thanks for your suggestion, but I should clarify that we've tried all of the options in the power settings for closing the lid, and still get the same issue.
