Update: I followed a friends advice to leave the laptop unplugged for the whole day and it somehow decharged, it's fully operational now. I'm very relieved. Thanks for all the adivce anyway.
Play it safe and get it fixed under warranty, that's what warranties are for. Especially for a laptop that's essentially dead. Where would you start troubleshooting that if it won't even come to life? Give Toshiba that problem to deal with while it's free of cost to you.

Thanks for the update, but for the benefit of future readers looking for a solution you should always ADD an edit or make a new post, not delete your original problem information. Thanks and I'm glad you fixed it (bet you're a happy bunny too!)
