Toshiba - Second Screen Menu Continuously Popping Up

Hello

On my brother's toshiba laptop, running windows 8, a popup asking to connect a second monitor keeps coming up.

We are not trying to set up any other monitor to the laptop, and this popup keeps coming back up even if we choose the single monitor option or close it. Does anyone know how to resolve this?

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help.
- Press the Windows key + P at the same time and select Computer Only or Disconnect Projector.
- If these doesn't work uninstall/reinstall the graphics card driver.
- Please do follow these article on how to do a clean install of the graphics card driver.

- If these will not work I would suggest running a complete factory reset.
