I have upgraded my Toshiba Tecra S430. It originally came with xp professional, but I have installed Windows 7...along with additional ram and a larger harddrive. One of the need drivers is called the Toshiba Common Modules driver. Windows 7 blocks this driver because of compatibility issues. However this "common" driver is required for many of the toshiba specific utilities. Is there a work around or updated driver windows will accept? I can't seem to find anything on the Toshiba site because when I enter my model number, it only lists XP as the operating system.

Solution
Actually "Common modules" is as a separate tool exist for Windows XP, and you can't use it in/for Windows 7. For Windows 7 you have to use the "Value Added package".

The most important part of this package is the “Toshiba Components Common Driver”. It is similar to the "Common modules" for Windows XP.

Install the Value Added Package and Display Driver for Windows 7 through either of these links...

For the version for 7 32 bit...
