Toshiba TV connection to Sony Sound Bar

Hi,

I have a Toshiba 48L1433DB and Sony HT-CT290 (Sound Bar and Subwoofer). The sound bar can only connect to the TV via optical cable or HDMI ARC Cable, neither of which my Toshiba TV seem to host. Does anyone know if there is a way to connect it?

You could convert the Coaxial Digital Audio Output of the TV to an Optical (Toslink) Input to the soundbar with one of these:
