Touch Pad Issues While In Minecraft

my son can't get his touchpad to work. As he is walking forward, he can't turn around while playing in Minecraft. I checked the setting which they are fine. I am not sure if its the touchpad or minecraft. any advice?

If it is only happening in the game, and not when doing anything else on the laptop, then it isn't the touchpad.

Have you checked the settings within the game? Rather than the settings on the computer.

You may also want to make sure the drivers are up to date on the laptop.
