touch screen laptop but no keyboard? help?

I just got a touch screen laptop Lenovo Ideapad that the keyboard flips 180 but the only problem is when using it like that is there is no keyboard. I know about On-screen keyboard but it's awful I have to double tap every letter i want to type. is there another program that i am unaware of that may be unabled for using with touch screens. it would be great if some type of key board similar to something that pops up on smart phones when you want to type. thanks for the help

Are you using the Microsoft OSK ? (Just go to start / search and type in On-Screen Keyboard.

On screen keyboards never feel like a 'real' keyboard. You can always plug in an external USB keyboard
