Tritton AX 180 - connecting to PC

Hi.

I've got AX 180 and I want to connect it to PC.
I connected USB and green audio jack to computer. But now I can't get rid of constant noise and when I attach microphone it redirects ambient stuff from mic to headphones. The noise is like it is boosted +30 dB. Also it listens somehow to that connector where are controls (in line connector) – when I touch it I can hear it in headphones. I don't know what to do with it. I was thinking about buying some sort of adapter which converts xbox connector to jack then another converter that let's me control volume and mic ON/OFF and then connect it to PC. I don't know if that kind of stuff exists.

When I pressed on voice volume on in line connector the noise stopped, but there is stll some noise in background.

first off, choose whether you wish to use the USB connector or the green audio jack.
if you choose to use the USB connector, change your audio source to PS3/PC 1
if you choose to use the green audio jack, change your audio source to XBOX/PC 2

as for the noise in the background, what does it sound like? if it's a soft high-pitched buzzing sound, try reconnecting the connector.

I was trying all kind of stuff to make that noise disappear.
It sounds like you are talking with someone on skype who have microphone boosted 30 dB+.

the PS3/PC 1 thing is located on the in line connector. it's the switch next to the game volume

as for the sound, i've never experienced something like that on my ax 180 before.
there might be a problem with one of the wires, try contacting tritton support.
