Solution digitaldoc Mar 30, 2015 The USB slot on an HDTV is really for a firmware upgrade from a flash drive. In some cases, it can display photos for a slide show. However, it is not a fully functional USB port for attaching other peripherals to, including your mouse and keyboard.
