So the main problem is the boot time is redonk. I power it on(only being powered by the charger/no battery installed) and it sometimes takesan hour to boot past the bios and other times it does so immediately. any ideas? let me know what you mighht need and ill try to get to it.

Solution
There's a good chance that there is a hardware problem. It's hard to say which component, specifically, is the one with the issue though. The only way to really nail it is to swap one thing out at a time; try a different hard drive, then test. Same problem? Try different RAM, then test again. If all is the same still, it could be a problem with the motherboard, which may be difficult to fix (it may even need replaced).
If you happen to leave it plugged in 24/7, remove the charger, then press and hold the power button for about 5 seconds. This will drain the current from the board, which can reset the EC chip. Resetting that chip sometimes clears firmware bugs that show up during POST (POST = start up).

Other than that, you may have an issue with the board or a component hanging for an egregiously long time trying to pass POST.
