Trying to keep my laptop on

Hi, my laptop is a Toshiba. I' ve had it for about two years. I've had to buy a universal charger three times now, because the previous ones were unable to charge it after a few months. The last charger was different. It didnt charge the battery but supplied enough juice to keep it on. Until now. My laptop turns off unexpectedly, regardless if its heated or not. I think it needs to be charged. Will an original charger do the trick? Or is there more to it?

Check if your power supply is stable. try using a surge protector or test it in a friend's house
