Note that although the compiler will run on a 64-bit OS it will not produce 64-bit code. I fyou want to produce 64-bit code you need Microsoft's Visual Studio Community: https/www.visualstudio.com/en-us/products/visual-studio-community-vs.aspx

The C language is fundamentally the same as it was when it was first standardized. While TurboC may be dated, it's still a perfectly valid teaching tool.

The C language has undergone large changes since the first standards. The latest standard was ratified in December 2011. The Borland C compiler predates this by over a decade. It makes little sense to use Borland C on Windows when the Microsoft compiler is freely available.
