Turtle Beach PX22 amplifier replacement

I have a cat who chews wires like crazy. Today, while I was at school he got into my room somehow and chewed my wire to my PX22. He didn't chew the headphones but he chewed the amp. I can't seem to find it anywhere but Turtle Beach's website (http/www.turtlebeach.com/product-detail/amplifiers-parts/amplifier-for-px22/423). It seems really expensive there though and the amplifier is almost as much as the headphones and amplifier. So I have 2 questions:
1- Is the amp cheaper somewhere else?
2- If not, what headset, under $60, is better?

Usually my door is closed and I've already tried that. He doesn't care and I think he actually kind of likes it. I have a badass cat. He doesn't care about getting squirted with water, pepper spray (not on him but on cords) or when I do that thing where you like make a lot of noise and it's supposed to scare them. I just need a replacement cord.
