Solution A A americanaudiophile Jan 20, 2015 If your speakers are self powered you can use one of these: http://www.parts-express.com/parts-express-digital-to-analog-converter-%2851-compatible%29--180-999 to convert the optical digital to analog audio. Your speakers must have their own volume control as the optical output is fixed.
