So i was trying to connect a universal remote to my Salora-24LED000T (TV) after many times trying to connect the damn thing using different methods. I finaly connected the remote. My TV went off and i turned it on via my universal remote the tv went on i had 2 screens.... the remote still worked so i tried to reset my tv using fabric reset. Which did not work i also tried to change the resolution. I tried a hard reset disconnecting the power to the tv en switching the off button. i waited a full day and connected it to the power again which did not help too. So im hoping you guys can help me with this hopeless situation.

Solution
First of all what is the source of the "universal" remote. Universal can be interpreted and marketed in many ways....

Secondly, any User Guides or Manual for the manual and the TV? Lack of instructions or poor instructions are a clear sign of shoddy products....

Set the "universal remote" aside for the moment and see if you can get the Salora working via its own remote or built-in buttons.

You need to reduce the variables by getting back to the basics. Check Salora's website: see if their forums/FAQ's address the screen problem.
