TV to PC streaming

So its possible to stream PC to TV, but is it possible to stream a tv screen to pc? (I want to basically be able to record console stuff without a capture card)

Some european models I hear has a hidden capability of recording to the USB dongle.

You don't stream from the TV, the TV displays the image from the console it's not it's own source. Point a webcam on the TV, record it. Otherwise you need a capture card on the computer.

I don't have a "webcam" I can simply take downstairs and record it. Especially since it would be poor quality. Plus you don't have a "capture card on the computer"
