Tv turns on screen starts to blink then turn off

Tv turns on the screen starts to blink for 5 seconds then it goes off by it self then the red stand by flashes

Did you try to connect anything (like pc input to see if it works), and which TV do you have?

I have the same issue. I have a panosonic. This happen without cable signal as well.
