We have two gaming set ups in one room. Both have Blue Yeti microphones. Both use the Discord desktop app to communicate. One person can hear their voice from the other mic and it is very distracting.

Set up ONE (cannot hear their own voice from the other mic):
-Blue Yeti mic with gains all the way up. Discord input volume at 35% (any lower and the other person cannot hear. any higher and the other person can hear their own voice too much). This person is turned up all the way to 200% on the other person's discord app.
-Steelseries Arctic 7 Headset
-Input sensitivity is ON
-Noise Suppression is OFF (the quality of the voice input goes down when it is turned on)
-Echo Cancellation ON
-Noise Reduction ON
-Advanced Voice Activity ON
-Automatic Gain Control ON

Set up TWO (can hear their voice from the other mic):
-Blue Yeti mic with gains all the way up. Discord input volume at 33%. This person is at 100% on the other person's discord app.
-Logitech G430 Headset
OTHER SETTINGS SAME in Discord.

We have an L shaped set up. We have tried to match each other's settings but it's just not working out. It's weird that it's only one mic picking up everything and the other is set up perfectly. Please advise on how we can decrease the echo or voice pick up from the ONE mic.

Thank you!

Solution
Turn the gain down, more gain = more extra sounds it will pick up. You turning off the noise suppression is also an issue, that is technology that filters out extra sound from the room like someone else speaking, which is why the quality drops a bit since it has to process the signal to filter things out.

Also make sure it's set to Cardioid.

Since you both are not sitting straight to each other (you said it was an L shape) that means the audio and reflections off the walls do not travel evenly for both of you.
