I Disagree. It's more like a deterrent to buy the game used. People dissuaded by the fee probably can't or won't buy that game new.

Ubisoft has really made some improvements in the last year with the changing of their DRM policies and now this. They seem to be going in the opposite direction of companies like EA.

I play AC for the single player anyways, the passes never really bothered me, but Im not saying I support it.

I love how people are saying that they are going the opposite direction of EA, but EA actually removed the online pass FAR earlier than Ubisoft. EA is still a horrible company for making day one DLC for 40 dollars more (premium) making a game that should be priced 40-35 dollars due to its lack of a good singleplayer (from what I have been told at least) 100 dollars. They are ridiculous, but they have a lot of good games under their belt, which is why people keep on buying into their BS.
