my iPhone 4s is not detected on my pc windows 8 please help me how to solve?

Test with another system, try a different cable, need to rule out where the issue may be.

I did this too. It was found on a macbook, but it was still unresolved on my windows. I even made sure everything is updated and restarted both computer and phone several times. suggestions?!?!
