unable to move apps to SD on rca 7 inch android 4.2

Not rooted. 16gb SD card shows mounted. No option to move app in settings-apps-ap*... Apmanager says most installed apps are movable but simple loads the settings screen where user is supposed to tap Move to SD, which of course is not a visible option.

Any ideas?

Doing that requires root access. Android, to my knowledge, no longer natively supports moving apps to your SD card or running them from there. At best, you are able to move over negligible data files; the bulk of the app is usually still stored in your internal memory.
