"Water-resistant to about 65 feet, the UA Band is safe to take in the pool or the shower. That's better than the merely splash-resistant Fitbit Charge HR, but the vivosmart HR, which can also track swimming, is resistant to water at a depth of 165 feet."

Can you confirm this info? Because I saw in other reviews that UA band is water resistant to 2 ATM, only ok for sweat and rain but is not to be used in shower or for swimming.

Although I really wish it can be waterproof but I guess it's not...

A representative from Under Armour confirmed that the watch is IP X7 rated, meaning it's rated to last 30 minutes in 1 meter of water. It'll survive a dip in the ocean or in the shower, but not meant for extended submersion.
