I Have not been able to update my windows for some time know do to unknown reasons

LINK TO THREAD HERE

So i decided to see if it might be a virus causing it. Even though i have trend micro MaximumSecurity running 24/7 and hasn't picked anything up. I downloaded house call went into safe mode with networking and ran it

It found 1 Trojan with the name bonjour.exe and Trojan name troj ge.bf3666d3

Now here is the weird part. it was found in the file path \appdata\local\temp\HouseCall\tmase\nmap\bonjour.exe

I don't think housecall downloads a trojan with itself or anything to do with bonjour (which if i remember it is apple).

Can someone explain what has happened?

Try downloading this https://www.malwarebytes.com/mwb-download/ make sure "scan for rootkits" is on. Run a threat scan or if you have the time, a full scan.

Apparently Trend Micro might be full of bugs according to this, granted this article is a few months old, but it highlights some of the problems all third party anti-virus might have. http://www.techradar.com/news/could-windows-defender-be-the-last-antivirus-you-will-ever-need
