Up grading Dell Inspiron 6400?

Can I install an Intel Core 2 Duo Mobile T5600 processor, and also install a 2x1GB of DDR2 667MHz PC2-5300 SODIMM RAM, into a Dell Inspiron 6400? (tag is 58PY33J)?

You can't change the CPU in a laptop, and even if you could, only Dell can tell which CPUs are compatible since they don't publish that information.

For compatible RAM modules, connect your Dell to the internet and go to http/uk.crucial.com/gbr/en

According to Wikepedia - "Intel Core Duo T2050, or Intel Core 2 Duo T5500, T5600, or T7200, or T7400." And up to 4 gb 667 MHz ram (multiple source). It is Socket M, which means you can change the CPU.
