Update msi notebook bios?

I want to update the bios of my msi ge60 2pe apache pro but there seems to be a lot of warnings about updating the bios ( http/www.msi.com/support/nb/GE60-2PE-Apache-Pro.html#down-bios )
can someone tell me how i can safely update the bios.

Why you want to update the BIOS? Is there anything wrong with the current one?
BIOS updates are releases for several reasons (listed in the release notes):
- supprot for new CPUs (not likely for a laptop)
- bug fixes (usually, in power management)

So, find out whether you want to do that. Recently, most BIOS updates are done from within Windows, and if you follow the instructions, there is no harm.
