Updating BIOS and EC

Hello,

I have some problems with my fan. (I got a cooler booster, so my fan runs 6500 RPM). It's very weird and i contacted MSI for support. They said i should update my BIOS and EC. The problem is: I readed that it can be dangerous if i make a mistake. So.

Is here a guy who can help me?

Hi,

Actually it should be dangerous as soon as you get the correct BIOS update. Do also make sure to have the laptop plugged in to its AC adapter so there wouldn't be any interruptions. The only time that it would be dangerous if it the laptop will shutdown in the middle of the update.
