I've had my Acer Aspire V3-771G-736b1687Maii for 5 years now, and it is starting to have some booting problems every now and then (no bootable device). I've been able to fix this by taking out the battery, access the BIOS, wait for 15 minutes, then turning it back on, but I am afraid that will stop working at some point. I am very dependent on having a laptop for my Graphic Design studies, so I don't want to push my luck too much.

Do you think this problem can be fixed by buying a new hard drive, or should I buy a completely new laptop?
I don't have a lot of money to spare at the moment, and it seems like I can get a pretty good laptop by upgrading the one I have without getting broke. But I don't want to do it if the "no bootable device" problem consists, or if there's a great chance that it will stop working from simply being "too old".

Thank you so much in advance,
and please excuse my English, hope it makes sense :)
