Hello everyone,
I am considering buying a new gaming laptop on Black Friday but am not sure if the upgrade will be worth it. I currently have a lenovo y50 laptop with a corei7 and gtx860m which runs most new games pretty well on low to medium settings. However, it has an absolutely terrible screen which makes everything look washed out and the colors are completely inaccurate.
I have a couple of people interested in buying the laptop for $400 so if I sell it I will buy a new laptop around $1000 which would get me a gtx1050m and possibly an SSD. However, I am not really sure if the jump from gtx860m to gtx1050m will lead to significant improvement in performance or not? My other option is to simply add an ssd to my current laptop and replace the lcd screen both of which will cost under $250.
So what would you guys recommend?
Thanks
