i have hp laptop 15-r016sv
Processor i5 4210U 1.70GHz
Socket 1168 BGA
RAM 8GB DDR3
GPU Nvidia 2GB DDR3

i want to upgrade the processor to the maximum possible speed, can anyone tell me is that possible? if yes, what choices do i have?

as i know no way to upgrade a processor that has a BGA socket. is that true? if yes, what is the solution? 1.7 really slow and I need to upgrade to more than 3.0GHz

Thanks
TAM

Solution
You are correct, a processor with a BGA socket cannot be replaced without expensive equipment.

The easiest solution is to buy a new laptop with a more powerful processor.
