Upgrading Dell Latitude D600 CPU to Intel Pentium M 765... but...

I bought an Intel SL7V3 Pentium M 765 RH80536 from eBay to update an old Dell Latitude D600 laptop. The advert claimed the specifications are the clock speed is 2.1 GHz, the L2 cache is 2 MB and the Front Side Bus (FSB) speed is 400 MHz. These specs match the 765 you can find anywhere on the Internet.

What I received, however, was an Intel Pentium M 765 with the specifications on the labels that say the clock speed is 2.26 GHz, the L2 cache is 2 MB and the FSB speed is 533 MHz. I was surprised that I was sent a "better" CPU, but I just wanted to double-check that my D600 laptop was compatible.

After I looked on the Internet for a 765 with these specs I cannot find one. These specs actually match an SL7SN Intel Pentium M 780, which is the CPU of a newer Dell Latitude D610.

I have photos of the CPU that I received, that clearly shows it to be a 765, but with 780 specifications. The labels look genuine... Unfortunately I cannot attach the photos here.

Has anyone heard of a Pentium M 765 with 2.6 GHz/2MB L2 Cache/533 MHz FSB ?
