Hey all, I have an Early 2015 Macbook Pro 13" 128GB and desperately need more storage. So far I've only been able to find extremely expensive SSDs made specifically for Macbooks (as well as those flash cards but I'm not keen on these).

My question is, surely someone out there has found a way to just use a normal SSD/M.2 drive in a macbook? Perhaps an adapter or something?

Am I really limited to buying one of those overpriced macbook specific ssds?

Yes basically. That's why Apple states when you buy the computer that the SSD is not upgrade-able.
