Unfortunately the family dog recently past away breaking all our hearts. I've turned on an old laptop for the first time in 8 years with the intention of putting sentimental images of the dog on a usb to then share with the family.
The problem is the folder name is there when I press "start" and search the name, however, when clicking on the folder it says "the item 'folder name' that this shortcut refers to has been deleted. However, it may be restored from the recycling bin. Do you want to restore this file or delete this shortcut."
I click restore and nothing happens. I have checked recycling bin and it is empty.
If anyone can help me resolve this problem I can't express how happy it will make me and the rest of my family.
