Solved! Usb headphone no sound card

Hello,
My acer laptop recently lost sound and i believe it is a faulty sound card . Will the usb headphones work?

First, try reloading the sound card drivers/software via Acer's support site. If that doesn't work, check out the sound properties and ensure that the speakers are the default sound device.
