I recently purchased my new usb gaming headset (A4tech G501). The issue that I'm having is that there is a hum or buzzing noise whenever I use the mic. I have a different mic using the mic jack not using the usb like this headset there is no static. Any tips or ideas to solve this issue?

I tried every usb ports both from the back and front I/O. Here what I just recently discovered whenever I make contact with my body to the tower(metal) it lessens the hum noise but it doesn't totally remove it.

Btw I'm using a desktop not a laptop. Thanks

See above, there's a chance the computer isn't grounded properly and you are hearing an electrical hum or vibration. You might want to verify your powerbar is in good shape, and that your motherboard is mounted properly and nothing is making contact to the case unintentionally.

It doesn't, it's an analogue connection. USB is digital. Something is causing static on the USB ports.
