Usb Port Question

I have bought a brand new laptop witn no OS on. I have installed Windows 7 and all the drivers i need. But the usb ports are not working. When i connect my mouse for example, nothing happens. I cannot move the cursors with the mouse. I tried others usb devices. Its the same way. My question is what i have to do to enable them. The laptop is asus f555lb

Just want to make sure, you installed ALL the chipset and USB drivers (if any)?

I fixed it. Just installed windows 8 and the support disk installed all i needed.
