Hello,
I have a toshiba laptop that has 3 USB ports, one on the left side, and two on the right side. The left side hasn't worked since i got it. But, the two on the right side have worked great but just stopped working at the same time for no reason. In the device manger they don't even show up. They have power but nothing works in them. Is there anything I can do to make them work besides a new motherboard?

If you have knowlage of how to take your Laptop apart, see if you can find any kind of plugs that are unplugged.

Hi :)

There are no plugs to check...

I own a laptop repair company...

Two choices...

If you have a PCMCIA slot you can get a USB card to slot in...

Or take it to a good laptop repair company who should be able to fix it, but it wont be cheap as its a motherboard out job...

And take my word its NOT a do it yourself job...

All the best Brett :)
