Use ipad retina display on it's own???

hello,
I just wanted to know if anyone in this forum could help me with this...and don't I know if am actually right here but...

I wan't to buy the ipad 3 retina display on it's own (119$) and use it in a diy-projector (just a litle project of mine ).
Is there a company or a place to buy a controller board with dvi, hdmi, chinch and so on...that will work with this screen???

Any hint would be very helpful. Thanks.

AFAIK that connector is proprietary, so you'd have to use most of an iPad in order to get it to do anything.
