Question use usb keyboard and mouse on computer with type c?

more specifically using surface pro x. i want to buy it without the keyboard and use my wireless keyboard and mouse that requires a usb to work. say if i bought a usb a to usb c otg (this) would it work? thank you.

For me its work but sometime it disconnected automatically so i don.t know whats the problem is if you have any solution please help me .
