My girlfriend is considering buying a laptop from her acquaintance. The parameters are probably

Intel Dual Core T2330
1.2 RAM
100gb hd

Applications: office, internet, movies and mp3.

Is this model future proof for such purposes?
Can it run on windows 7 flawlessly?

What would be an attractive price for such a computer in Europe?

No it will not run windows 7 flawlessly. Might not run it at all I think it requires 2 gb of ram for 64 bit. XP will work though. 150$ is the most I would offer if the battery is still good.
