Using 3.5 Sata Hdd to boot on laptop

Hi i want to ask i have an old fujitsu laptop but the os won’t boot because its missing NTLDR,i have the cd for it but it won’t boot or read the disk and I don’t have a pendrive at the moment or any access to a laptop or pc

And i only have that laptop since my other laptop broke and I can’t boot from that hdd too because it shows the blue screen of death now i only have a 3.5 hdd with the same os

My question is if I bought a 3.5 sata to usb and connected it to my laptop will it show the hdd on the bios and can i boot from it?

The old laptop shows my broken laptop hdd with external cable since the old one uses ide and the broken laptop uses Sata so will it show it show the 3.5 sata hdd as external on the bios too?
