I am using a ThinkPad Yoga 14 primarily in clamshell mode, and connect it to an external display, keyboard, and mouse. I use the laptop's speakers for sound output, and therefore, the speakers are active when the laptop is closed. Will using the laptop's speakers when the laptop is closed have any long-term effects on the laptop's display or other hardware? (The speakers are down-firing.)
Thank you for your help.

Hi,

Based from my experience with kind of setup which I've done before but for couple of months only it wouldn't hurt the speaker but the sound won't be clean as it should be since it's closed and there's obstruction on the speaker.

Will the magnetism from the speakers affect the laptop's display, as the speaker is very close to the display in this setup?

The speakers have magnets in them even when the thing is not in use. for this to be an issue, every laptop out there would be crashing.
