Using monitors with a computer AND a TV

I was wanting to use the stereo monitors I have set up for my PC for my TV as well, but I'm not sure if that's possible. Is there a form of splitter box I could use that will just swap between the two channels? If so, is there one that is intelligent enough to automatically switch to the source sending sound like with some HDMI splitters, or are they all manual? Thanks

You could do this with an A/B 3.5mm or rca switch depending on how you have things set up. Manual though.
