Question using toshiba laptop without screen

Hi,
I have toshiba laptop with broken screen, so i cant use that. Can i disconnect the screen and plug it to hdmi monitor? I want to use this laptop like a desktop. Can toshiba laptop boot without screen?

Try it and see what happens, different models do different things and Toshiba made quite a good number of laptops.

As long as you have a HDMI port, everything should be fine. It's not mandatory to have a laptop display connected to it, just unplug the display and remove it. Once I had a Toshiba laptop and the hinges were completely destroyed, so I just removed the display case, put it on a table near my TV and used it without any problems.
