UX31A replacement battery not detected/won't charge

Hey, I'm having an odd problem. I've replaced my ux31a battery. initially, the laptop wouldn't detect it. Not, it detects it but the charge is stuck at 9%. It runs fine off the AC charger. Any ideas?

Hi,

Is the battery the same with your old ones or is it a different brand? Have you tried reseating the battery? Take it off from the laptop while it's on with the AC adapter then put it back in making sure it's properly seated. If that doesn't work try contacting the store where you purchased the new battery from so they can check it as well. also do try another AC adapter it can also be an issue with it.
