PLEASE. If they were actually concerned with customer's desire rather than making $ they would've offered this crap long ago. Fact is, this is just a new way to compete and earn good PR for the company. Every time someone is considering switching carriers, they ask their friends what service they use. Verizon did not get to be Verizon by being stupid. This is simply a big play to win a larger customer base. Plain and simple. Ignore the PR spin. It might work on uneducated consumers, but anyone who understands basic marketing 101 knows what this is.
