Vertical lines on TV.

Hello, I.m having vertical lines going through the TV. I changed the t-con board no luck. Can it be the display panel that's bad

if the vertical lines are in a small section of the tv (ie. one side) as opposed to across the entire screen, then its likely a panel problem which is not repairable.
