Video Card Help

Hello All,

I am about to order a new HP DV6tqe or DV7tqe to use with the new Targus 3.0 docking station.

I will be keeping laptop mostly closed when on office desk and using 2 external 24inch monitors (almost new). No gaming use to speak of, just business use mostly with heavy open app use.

VC options are:

NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) GT 630M Graphics with 1GB GDDR3 memory [HDMI, VGA]

NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) GT 650M Graphics with 1GB GDDR5 memory [HDMI, VGA]
+$75.00

NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) GT 650M Graphics with 2GB GDDR5 memory [HDMI, VGA]
+125.00

Will the GT630M work well or should I upgrade.

If you are not gaming you will not need to upgrade at all. Get the cheapest possible.

Does that bussiness use include 3d design/rendering? If not then the 630 will do fine.

No 3D.

I'll save the money and stay with the 630
